AllRiderz is a free app for riders helping riders. The kind of help that's always existed at the side of the road, just easier to find.
Mine happened in Death Valley. A silly low speed fall, the kind you'd normally get up from laughing, except this one left me with a broken ankle a long way into a national park.
I got lucky. I was riding with someone. But lying there it became painfully obvious, pun intended, how much of that was luck. On my own that day, my options would have come down to whoever happened to ride past.
Here's the thing though: somebody almost always does stop. The willingness has never been the problem. The problem is that the rider who would gladly help is three miles away and has no idea you exist.
So I built AllRiderz to close that gap. Put your hand up before anyone needs you, ask when you're the one stuck, and let the app do the finding. It's free, there's no money in it anywhere, and there is nothing for us to take a cut of.
It's early. The network is thin in most places and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But every rider who joins makes it work a little better for the next one.
We don't vet anyone's mechanical skill and we won't claim we do. Helpers are volunteers who ride. Where the network is thin, we'll tell you that rather than invent numbers.
Most people hate asking for help. The app should make it a few taps, not a favor you have to work up to.
There are no payments in the app. No fees, no subscription, no tipping. The moment helping becomes a transaction, it stops being what it is.
A jump pack, a lift, a phone with signal, or just not leaving someone alone on a shoulder. That's most of what riders actually need. Everyone has something to offer.
We ride. We've been burned. We know what matters. Every feature in AllRiderz comes from a real frustration we've had, or heard from another rider.
We launch city by city and go deep before going wide. Knowing the community beats covering the map.
